Onboard Starlight

A spacious modern world capable cruiser, at 47' in length, Starlight represents what it is to sail in comfort. Her size makes her stable and fast at sea under sail, but it also gives her ample space down below and with only 3 cabins and a maximum of 6 guests, she offers a truly unique experience in the Whitsundays. Ideal for small group sailing in the Whitsundays.

Layout

Starlight's generous interior design is spacious and airy, with only 3 cabins and accommodates a maximum of 6 passengers overnight. Each double berth is large and comfortable and the Private Stateroom boasts exceptional space and it's own private ensuite.

Private Stateroom

Taking up almost a 3rd of the vessel, the owners Private Stateroom incorporates a teardrop design, large double bed, with hanging closet and cupboard space. along with generous shelving and a small settee. There is also a generous sized private ensuite with basin, cabinet with mirror, shower and toilet. The Private Stateroom has it's own individual air-conditioning control and 4 hatches that fully open to allow plenty of light and fresh sea breezes to meander through the cabin. There are portholes to port and starboard allowing a view of the marine vista outside.

Private Double Cabins

Starlight boasts two large Private Double Cabins aft. Both have hanging lockers and cabinet with shelves along with shelving running beside the bed. The beds in the Private Double Cabins are large and comfortable. Both cabins are fully air-conditioned and have opening hatches in the roof and leading into the cockpit to allow for cool breezes to flow. There is also a seaward facing port hole to give you views of your picturesque anchorage.

Dining and Living Areas

Living area down below is modern and spacious and provides ample room for our 6 guests to relax and enjoy a meal and some company. The traditional wood features throughout the cabin are cool and the overhead skylights allow plenty of light to keep the cabin light and airy. 2 Main hatches and the main entrance allow air flow in the warmer months, or if required, the vessels air-conditioning can provide cool air. There is a large flat screen TV that can be used to take in a movie and we use to provide presentations for those undergoing sail training certification on board. We can also project the vessels electronic instrumentation and chart plotter onto the screen to review the days course and show previous and future anchorage options.
